Lebanon’s Prime Minister: No Stability Without Israel’s Full Withdrawal from Lebanon

Nawaf Salam demands end to Zionist regime’s brutality against Lebanon and withdrawal of its forces.

According to webangah News Agency,Lebanon’s prime Minister Nawaf Salam has called for an immediate halt to⁤ the​ Zionist regime’s aggression ‍against his country and the complete withdrawal of its military forces from Lebanese territory.

The appeal comes as Israeli airstrikes continue in Lebanon despite a months-old ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah, escalating concerns among‌ Lebanese officials.Salam visited the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon today, which ⁣was targeted by Israeli military‌ attacks last night.

In a post ‌on his personal X (formerly⁢ Twitter) account, the prime minister‌ stated: “I’ve repeatedly emphasized ⁣that⁣ there can be no stability in Lebanon without Israel’s complete withdrawal and ​an end to its aggressive actions.”

He​ added: “The Lebanese people ‌will only feel secure when weapons ​are exclusively under state control.”

Salam further stressed Lebanon’s need for safety networks to protect citizens and balanced advancement across all regions of the ​country.

The statements come ahead of scheduled meetings in Beirut between⁤ Salam, President⁣ Michel Aoun, Parliament ⁢Speaker Nabih Berri, and U.S. Special Envoy Tom Barak ​to discuss Lebanon’s future.
