Trump Threatens BRICS and Allied Nations!
According to webangah News Agency, US President Donald Trump-who has waged an economic tariff war against most countries, including Washington’s allies, since returning to the White House in January 2025-has now threatened BRICS members and supporters of its policies with a 10% additional tariff.
In a post on his social media platform “Truth Social,” trump stated: “Any country aligning with BRICS’ anti-american policies will face a 10% tariff penalty. There will be no exceptions.”
The US president offered no clarification or explanation regarding the alleged “anti-American policies” referenced in his threatening message.
The core BRICS members-Brazil, China, Russia, and India-first convened in 2009. The group later expanded to include South Africa and, last year, admitted Egypt, Ethiopia, indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and the UAE as new members.
The 17th BRICS Summit is currently being held on July 6-7 (Tir 15-16) in Brazil’s capital.
