Netanyahu Arrives in Washington to Meet Trump
Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist regime, has arrived in Washington to meet with US President Donald Trump, according to webangah News Agency.
Zionist sources stated that netanyahu is scheduled to meet Trump later today. Before boarding his flight, the regime’s prime minister claimed the meeting could help advance efforts toward a ceasefire agreement in Gaza.
Netanyahu asserted he seeks a deal based on Tel Aviv’s terms.
Meanwhile, informed Palestinian sources told Reuters that the first round of indirect ceasefire talks between Tel Aviv and Hamas in Doha concluded without significant progress or results.
The negotiations mark Netanyahu’s third visit to the US as Trump regained power in Washington.
The Hamas movement had initially responded positively to Qatar’s proposal for a 60-day truce, which included releasing 10 Zionist prisoners and handing over the bodies of 18 others in exchange for Zionist forces withdrawing from Gaza’s buffer zone and allowing expanded humanitarian aid into the enclave. The proposal also referenced discussions on a permanent ceasefire during this temporary truce period.
