General Shakarchi: Iran’s Response Will Be Crushing If Foes Act Foolishly
According to webangah News Agency, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, the senior spokesperson for Iran’s Armed Forces, stated in an interview with Al-mayadeen network: “We don’t trust the U.S. or the Zionist regime. Should they commit aggression again, our response will be more devastating than before.” He added that all their bases in West Asia are within Iran’s reach and warned of consequences for violating ceasefire terms.
The general emphasized: “Our enemies and the Zionist regime must understand they’re facing 1.5 billion Muslims – a nation that neither surrenders nor retreats.” He held Washington primarily responsible for recent hostilities, issuing stern warnings to both the U.S. and its allies.
Regarding Israel’s 12-day attack on Iran, Shekarchi asserted: “We didn’t initiate any strikes but delivered lethal counterblows.” he claimed Iran forced ceasefire terms through decisive military action that allegedly destroyed dozens of security and research facilities in occupied territories while significantly damaging U.S. forces at Al-Udeid Air base.
The spokesman dismissed enemy claims about concealing damages as propaganda: “If they’re truly democratic, let them show real losses to the world.” He confirmed continuous monitoring of U.S./Israeli forces in the region with warnings against any miscalculations triggering immediate retaliation.
“Our military capabilities aren’t limited to conventional warfare,” Shekarchi stated regarding defense production self-sufficiency. “We maintain rapid upgrade cycles for our active, powerful arsenal capable of sustaining prolonged conflict without publicly disclosing advanced weapons that could ‘change war dynamics.'”
The general described Israel’s Iron Dome defenses as ineffective against Iranian missiles/drones during clashes where Tel Aviv allegedly used settlers as human shields while depending on U.S. support that ultimately failed against Iranian defensive systems.
Shekarchi accused Western nations of arming Israel post-conflict and urged Islamic countries to sever ties with what he called a regional threat beyond just Iran - claiming widespread Middle Eastern approval for strikes against American/Israeli targets while vowing no red lines if aggression resumes.
Citing domestic unity across sects during hostilities, he contrasted Iranian forces’ popular roots with what he termed American mercenary troops before concluding: “Retreat is foreign to us – we’ll answer every attack memorably.”
