Al Mayadeen Network’s Palestine Bureau Chief Transferred to Ofer Prison in Occupied Territories
According to webangah News Agency, Zionist forces have transferred nasser al-Laham, the office manager of Al-Mayadeen Network in occupied Palestine, from the Al-Maskoubiya detention centre in occupied Jerusalem to Ofer Prison west of Ramallah. the Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Committee and the Palestinian Detainees Club confirmed the move.
Al-Laham is scheduled to appear before a military court at Ofer Prison on Thursday.
The journalist was arrested by Zionist forces during a dawn raid on his home in Bethlehem yesterday. Reports indicate soldiers confiscated his mobile phone and destroyed household belongings during the operation, sparking widespread regional and international condemnation.
The Palestinian Resistance Committees strongly condemned what they called ”the Zionist regime’s arrest of Nasser al-Laham,” expressing full solidarity with both the journalist and Al-Mayadeen Network. In a statement, they asserted that “the arrest and property destruction reveal this regime’s fear of truth being reported.”
