Netanyahu Approves Katz’s Controversial Plan for Gaza Residents
A Hebrew source has revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has endorsed War Minister Israel Katz’s controversial proposal to forcibly relocate Gaza’s entire 2 million residents to the devastated ruins of Rafah, according to webangah News Agency.
The source added that Tel Aviv would jointly administer the designated area wiht other regional parties.
The Guardian condemned Katz’s plan as “criminal and inhumane.” under the scheme, Palestinians would undergo security screenings before entering Rafah’s destroyed zone and be permanently barred from leaving.
The first phase targets displacing 600,000 Palestinians-mostly refugees from al-Mawasi-to this confined area. Analysts view this as part of Israel’s broader strategy to gradually expel Gazans from the territory entirely.
