Russia’s Prosecutor General designates Yale University as ‘undesirable organization
According to the webangah News Agency, Moscow officials declared the American university an “undesirable organization” on Tuesday, accusing it of attempting to undermine Russia’s stability and train activists opposed to the Kremlin.
The Prosecutor General’s Office stated that Yale’s activities aim to “weaken Russia’s territorial integrity, support international sanctions against the country, destabilize its economic foundations, and exacerbate socio-economic and political tensions.”
The report further alleges that the university provides scholarships to train “opposition leaders” abroad-including members of Alexei Navalny’s banned Anti-Corruption Foundation-who then apply thier education at Yale to “intensify protest activities in Russia.”
