Naem Qasim: News of “Al-Aqsa Storm” Reached Nasrallah Half an Hour After It Began
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Al-Mayadeen conducted an exclusive interview today, Tuesday, with Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah.
In the interview, Hezbollah’s Secretary General said: “Al-Mayadeen has filled a tremendous void in our region. Its success in becoming a powerful beacon that Israel cannot bear to witness is a great honor. we learned about Operation Al-Aqsa Storm on October 7-just as the world did. Our brothers in Hamas leadership carried out this important, impactful, and revolutionary act that changed regional dynamics. The news of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm reached Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah half an hour after it started.”
Sheikh Naim Qassem added: “sayyed Hassan Nasrallah proposed ordering bombing attacks on the Shebaa farms area the following day since these lands are part of occupied Lebanon. The Shura Council convened and we decided to engage in supportive combat rather than a full-scale war becuase such a war requires certain preconditions that were not met at that time. The purpose of this support was to alleviate Gaza’s suffering and push Israel toward a solution. We received a message from Gaza through someone inside Lebanon; this message came directly from the martyr Mohammad al-Daif.”
