Israel’s Supreme Court Reviews Petition to Remove Netanyahu
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and Shehab, the Israeli newspaper Maariv revealed that today the Supreme Court will examine a request submitted by Israeli lawyer Donna Holtz to remove Benjamin Netanyahu from his position as Prime Minister.
The lawyer’s petition claims that Netanyahu shoudl be dismissed for violating conflict of interest principles and overstepping his legal authority.
She added that there is no alternative but to remove Netanyahu in order to protect the Israeli regime.
Previously,former officials and opposition leaders within the Israeli regime had called for Netanyahu’s dismissal due to the prolonged war in Gaza and unmet promises,including the complete destruction of Hamas and the return of Israeli captives.
