Joint Meeting Between Julani Regime and Syrian Kurds Held in Damascus
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, reported that local informed sources confirmed the start of talks between the so-called “autonomous Governance in North and East syria” and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) with representatives of the ruling regime in Damascus.The discussions focus on implementing the terms of the March 10, 2025 agreement signed by both parties.
the meeting is held under the supervision and presence of Thomas Barrett, U.S. Special Envoy for Syria, and Jean-baptiste Faivre, a representative from the French government.
According to sources, the Autonomous Administration delegation includes SDF commander Mazloum Abdi, senior Kurdish officials Ilham ahmed and Fauza yusuf, as well as head of the Future Syria Party.
The sources stated that this delegation will propose amendments to accelerate implementation of the March 10 agreement originally signed by Mazloum Abdi and Ahmad al-Shara.
