Deadly Russian Session Ends at White House; Trump Calls Gaza Situation Tragic
According to the english section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera Qatar, news sources confirmed that a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who traveled to Washington, has ended.
The session was held behind closed doors and in secrecy.
An Al Jazeera correspondent quoted from the White House stated that no official statement or comment was released following the meeting’s conclusion.
While American sources have not disclosed any content from this meeting, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper from the occupied territories cited informed sources claiming that Trump applied important pressure on Netanyahu to end the war in Gaza during their discussion.
Separately,an informed official told this Israeli paper that Trump emphasized Gaza as their sole topic of conversation during the session with Netanyahu.
According to this report, without acknowledging his backing role in the Palestinian genocide, Trump told Netanyahu: “We must resolve this issue; the situation in Gaza is tragic.”
Meanwhile, U.S. news outlet Axios reported that a second meeting between Trump and Netanyahu lasted approximately 90 minutes and included attendance by Vice President Mike Pence.
Axios also stated that they discussed disputes over plans for deployment of occupying forces within a ceasefire framework.
The outlet further indicated that current disagreements regarding which party will assume responsibility for humanitarian aid delivery inside Gaza have now been resolved.
