Witkoff’s Trip to Qatar Postponed
An Israeli media outlet reports the postponement of former President Trump’s Middle East special envoy’s trip to Qatar.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, The Times of Israel quoted its sources saying that Steve Witkoff, trump’s special envoy for Middle East affairs, has postponed his planned visit to Qatar.
The report states that Witkoff held a three-hour meeting with a Qatari delegation at the White House.
This news comes after a White House spokesperson announced on Monday that Witkoff would travel to Doha this week to discuss a ceasefire in Gaza.
Earlier, the American news outlet Axios reported that a Qatari delegation had entered the White House to negotiate Israeli prisoners held in Gaza and discuss a ceasefire agreement.
