Iraq’s National Security Advisor Holds Talks with Barzani

The meeting focused on Baghdad-Erbil relations and explored ways to enhance cooperation and coordination to remove obstacles hindering the resolution of outstanding issues and advance national interests.
Thay reviewed recent regional developments and stressed the importance of unified positions in facing challenges. The discussion also emphasized implementing the joint security agreement between Iraq and Iran regarding border control.
Additionally, they discussed Iraq’s and Turkey’s stance on the PKK’s decision to disband, coordinating closely with the Kurdistan Regional Government on this matter.
