Senior Ukrainian Intelligence Officer Assassinated
Media reports indicate the assassination of a senior Ukrainian intelligence officer.
According to the english section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, Igor Mosiychuk, a former Ukrainian MP, announced that Ivan Voronych, an officer of the Ukrainian intelligence service, was assassinated during a shooting operation in Kyiv.
Ukrainian media reported that this morning’s shooting occurred in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv. The assailants used a silenced weapon and fired five rounds.
The Ukrainian officer had served as senior operations officer at the 16th Special Operations Center as November 2024.
