Yemen Operation Inflicts Heavy Losses on Eternity C Owners
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Masirah, reported that the Financial Times revealed owners of the ship Eternity C, recently sunk by Yemeni armed forces in the Red sea, face losses amounting to tens of millions of dollars.
The report noted that the vessel was sailing thru the Red Sea without war risk coverage.
Financial Times added that Travelers Insurance in the United States had refused to renew war risk insurance for this ship due to its insistence on taking a hazardous route.
Earlier reports by this newspaper also indicated a staggering rise in insurance costs for ships transiting the Red Sea.
This price surge is attributed to attacks carried out by Yemeni armed forces targeting vessels affiliated wiht the Israeli regime in these waters.
