Protests Erupt in Mauritania Condemning Zionist Regime Crimes
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and the Palestinian Information Center, thousands of mauritanian citizens in the capital city condemned the ongoing genocide by the Zionist regime in Gaza with mass demonstrations.
The march, under the slogan ”Gaza; Resistance and Steadfastness,” began at Nouakchott Grand Mosque and continued to the United Nations office.
Protesters carried Mauritanian and Palestinian flags, along with images of Palestinian resistance leaders, including martyrs Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar. They chanted slogans supporting Gaza’s resistance while denouncing crimes committed by the occupying Zionist regime.
The gathering was organized by several non-governmental organizations as part of a series of popular programs supporting the Palestinian people.
Participants held the United States directly responsible for prolonging the war and genocide in Gaza.
