Chair of Iran’s National Security Commission: Conditions Are Not Ready for Negotiations
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Ebrahim Azizi, Chairman of Iran’s Parliament national Security and Foreign Policy committee, told Yemen’s Al-Masirah network that the conditions for negotiations are not in place. He stressed that Iran does not trust the United States or other parties regarding talks under any circumstances.
He added that Iran would enter negotiations only under two conditions: recognition of Iran’s right to uranium enrichment and guarantees for lifting sanctions along with economic benefits from this process.
Azizi also stated that the Yemeni people have passed a divine test by fulfilling their religious duties with honor and will undoubtedly shape a meaningful part of the region’s future.
