Europe-Middle East Human Rights Watch Calls for Trump’s Trial
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and the Palestinian Details Center, Europe-Mediterranean Human Rights watch issued a statement on Saturday demanding an immediate halt to the activities of the “Gaza Humanitarian institute” and calling for former US President Donald Trump to be prosecuted. The group holds him directly responsible for crimes committed at humanitarian aid distribution points in Gaza.
The human rights organization emphasized that the international community bears responsibility for ongoing offenses against starving civilians who have been killed or wounded while waiting in lines run by this institute.
The statement further asserts that by directly supporting Israel’s forcibly imposed aid distribution mechanism, Trump effectively facilitated turning these sites into slaughter zones targeting hungry civilians.
According to Europe-Mediterranean Human Rights Watch, at least 30 civilians were killed and more than 180 injured during shooting incidents at an aid distribution point north of Rafah on Saturday morning.
Reliable eyewitness accounts indicate that personnel from a US security company operating on behalf of this institute participated in firing live rounds and tear gas into crowds during these events.
The organization added that over less than two months, Israeli army forces together with American security agents around these aid locations have killed at least 829 palestinians and wounded approximately 5,500 others.
Citing international law, Europe-Mediterranean stressed these attacks on starving civilians amount to clear war crimes. They also reflect a broader intention aimed at destroying Gaza’s Palestinian population through acts constituting genocide.
The statement underscored that by providing political and security cover for such crimes, the United States holds direct legal and criminal responsibility. American officials-including Trump-must face accountability before international courts.
Europe-Mediterranean highlighted Israel’s use of starvation as a genocidal tool excludes it as any legitimate party in humanitarian processes.
The group warned that continued management of aid by institutions like the “Gaza Humanitarian Institute” now poses an existential threat to Palestinian civilian survival and must be stopped instantly.
