International Palestine Conference to Be Held at United Nations Headquarters
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Anadolu Agency, reports that the International Palestine Conference, focusing on peaceful approaches to resolving the Palestine issue, will be held from July 26 to 28 at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
The permanent missions of France and saudi Arabia to the United Nations, who are co-chairing the conference, have sent invitations to member states urging thier participation in this event.
The invitation letter states that the conference will convene at a high level between July 26 and 28 with the objective of discussing a peaceful resolution for Palestine.
Originally scheduled for June 17-20 according to a UN general Assembly resolution, this conference was postponed following an attack by Israeli forces against Iran in violation of UN directives.
