Tel Aviv Seeks to Occupy Half of Gaza and Expel Its Residents
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, a palestinian source told Agence France-Presse that the indirect Doha negotiations between the Israeli regime and Hamas are on the verge of collapse due to Tel Aviv’s obstacles concerning its refusal to fully withdraw from Gaza.
The source added that the Israeli side insists on redeploying its forces within Gaza rather than a complete withdrawal.
Based on a map presented by Tel Aviv, Israeli forces would remain in 40 percent of Gaza’s territory. They plan to gather hundreds of thousands of displaced people in western Rafah with the intent to expel them from Gaza.
Hamas has rejected this proposal, stating that Tel Aviv aims to legitimize its occupation of Gaza.
