Tel Aviv TV: Gaza War Reminiscent of Lebanon Conflict-High Casualties, No Results
Israeli regime’s television network criticized the ongoing, futile war in the Gaza Strip.
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen, reported that Israel’s Channel 12 acknowledged that israeli soldiers continue to be killed one after another in Gaza, with this pointless war dragging on for over a year and a half.
The report compared the Gaza conflict to Israel’s first Lebanon war which began in 1982 and eventually ended with the liberation of southern Lebanon in 2000. During that conflict, Israeli soldiers died without clear cause, resulting in 18 years wasted.
Barak Sarai, a strategic affairs analyst at the channel, stated that Israeli soldiers were killed in lebanon before ultimately withdrawing from the country. He said the Gaza war is similarly useless and unproductive.
