Spiritual Leader of Syria’s Druze: We Will Not Remain Silent
the spiritual leader of Syria’s Druze community emphasized that quelling sedition is a national and moral duty, and protecting their children’s lives remains a red line. he made these remarks amid intense armed clashes in Suwayda province, according to Mehr News Agency via Al Mayadeen, as reported by webangah News Agency.
He added that the terrorist regime led by al-Julani must restore security to the region and remove armed elements from the area.
The Druze spiritual leader condemned all forms of aggression but stressed thay will not stay silent against repeated attacks targeting the Druze. He reaffirmed their legitimate right to defend themselves and maintain their security.
So far, clashes between armed groups and Druze residents in Suwayda have resulted in over 20 deaths and 40 injuries.
