Hanzalah Heads to Gaza After Madeline
More than a month after Israeli forces attacked the Madeleine ship,another vessel carrying pro-Palestinian activists has set sail from Italy toward Gaza.
The new ship, part of the freedom Fleet, departed Italy on Sunday bound for the Gaza Strip, reaffirming that the world has not forgotten the oppressed people of Palestine, according to webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Al jazeera.
The vessel named Hanthala left yesterday with 15 pro-Palestinian activists on board to deliver humanitarian aid directly to residents of the Gaza Strip.
dozens gathered at the departure point in Italy, chanting “Free Palestine.” Two representatives from a french political party are also expected to join the ship.
This comes six weeks after the Madeleine ship was seized by Israeli forces while en route from Italy to Gaza, and its passengers were detained.
