Netanyahu Angered by Zionists’ Call to Halt the War

Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his anger over the publication of polls⁢ supporting a halt to the gaza war in exchange for the release of Israeli captives.

According to⁢ the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News ⁢Agency and the Palestinian Information Center,Benjamin Netanyahu,Israel’s⁢ Prime Minister who is under international judicial investigation,criticized on Sunday the release of polls showing that most Israelis⁤ support a prisoner exchange ⁤deal with Hamas.

Israel’s Channel 13‌ quoted Netanyahu saying that such polls, which show majority ‌support for an agreement, fail to ask ‍respondents whether they want Hamas ⁣to⁢ remain in⁣ Gaza.

He claimed these surveys mislead Israeli public opinion.

The ⁣prime minister also accused Israeli ​media of‌ blaming him for obstructing efforts toward a prisoner swap while repeating Hamas propaganda.

The Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz reported that Netanyahu attacked both polling results and certain⁣ news​ channels. According to Haaretz, ⁢his remarks came ‌in response to a poll published several days ago by Channel 12 within Israeli ‍society.

The‍ survey found that 74 percent believe israel should end its war​ on Gaza “all at once” in exchange for‍ the return of captive Israelis.Tel Aviv estimates there are about 50 Israeli captives held in Gaza, with approximately 20 still alive.
