An explosion followed by a fire at a factory on Taiwan Island injured 15 people.
An explosion and subsequent fire in Taiwan has left 15 people injured, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today.
After the powerful blast at the Sun Yuan battery manufacturing plant in Kaohsiung, thick columns of smoke were visible from a distance across Taiwan Island.
Reports state that among the injured are 12 workers and four firefighters who responded to the incident.
