Flights from Iraq to Iran Resume

The Iraqi ⁤Ministry of Transportation announced that the ‍country’s airline flights to the Islamic ‍Republic of Iran ⁢will resume tommorow.

The English section of webangah⁢ News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and ‌Al-Maloomah, reported‌ that the Iraqi Ministry of Transportation declared on Monday that its airline flights to Iran, temporarily suspended⁤ due to regional security⁢ concerns, will restart⁣ on Tuesday.

In a statement received by Al-Maloomah ‌news ​agency,the ministry ‌confirmed‌ that “this decision was made ⁢following high-level coordination with ⁣relevant security and regulatory authorities ‍based on ‍a stabilized⁢ situation​ allowing for a gradual⁤ and safe resumption ​of air traffic.”

The statement quoted Munaf Abdulmonem, ‌Director General of Iraqi Airlines, saying ​that ​in the⁤ first phase​ there will be four weekly⁣ flights: two from Baghdad International Airport on Tuesdays⁤ and Saturdays, and two from Najaf⁣ International ⁣airport on Wednesdays and Sundays.
