Beijing Accuses Japan of Disrupting South China Sea

China’s Defense Ministry ‌spokesperson⁤ criticized Japan for supplying ships ​to the⁤ Philippine Navy, condemning the move as disruptive to the south China Sea and destabilizing​ for the Asia-Pacific region.

According to the English‌ section of webangah News Agency, ⁤citing Anadolu Agency via Mehr News ​Agency, China ​on Monday accused Japan of causing disruption in the ​South China Sea by providing vessels to the Philippine Navy.

jiang Bin, spokesperson​ for China’s Ministry of Defense, ⁣stated that in recent years, Japan has consistently exported weapons and equipment ‌aimed ‍at forming small groups meant to disrupt activities in the ​South China Sea ‌and create‍ instability across Asia and Oceania.

He added that China has repeatedly emphasized that defense and security cooperation among ⁤relevant countries should not target or harm third-party interests.

The Chinese defense official made these remarks concerning Japan’s plan to export six used Abukuma-class destroyers ⁢to the Philippines.
