NATO: If I Were Putin, I Would Take Ukraine Talks More Seriously

NATO Secretary General Claims in Meeting with U.S. President: If I Were Putin, I Would Take Ukraine Negotiations More Seriously

NATO secretary General Mark Rutte met with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House on Monday ‌and described America’s decision to supply weapons to Ukraine as very meaningful, according to the English ⁣section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency.

Continuing NATO’s stance ⁣of tension ⁢escalation and Russia apprehension, Rutte said he has been in contact with several European countries interested in contributing arms supplies for Ukraine. He added that multiple military aid ‍packages will be delivered to Ukraine.

Rutte claimed, “If I were Vladimir ⁢Putin today, I would reconsider the negotiations on Ukraine and take them more seriously.”

This statement comes ⁣despite⁢ repeated assertions from Russia that it is ready to resolve conflicts in Ukraine through diplomatic channels and‍ negotiations.
