Drone Attack Targets Oil Field in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region
Iraq’s Joint Operations Command reported a drone attack on an oil field in Erbil adn stated that the US-led coalition shot down both drones.
Iraq’s Joint Operations Command announced Monday night that the Khurmala oil field in Erbil province, located in the Kurdistan Region, was targeted by two drones.
In a statement, the command did not identify the perpetrators of the drone attack but confirmed that there were no casualties.The damage was limited to material losses.
The statement also emphasized that both attacking drones were intercepted and shot down by US-led coalition forces.
