Baqaei: America’s History of Violating Commitments Is Well Known to All
The spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry stressed that Israel’s aggression against Iran undermined diplomacy once again and eroded trust in the American side. He added that imposing war on Iran means imposing insecurity and instability across the entire region.
In an exclusive interview with Al Arabi, Esmail Baqaei said: “What happened was not only a blow to diplomacy but also damaged whatever minimal trust existed toward the American party. I reiterate, we have never negotiated with the U.S. based on trust as its record of violating commitments related to Iran’s nuclear dossier is well known.”
He stated firmly: “Israel’s attack on Iran represents an assault not only on diplomacy and international norms but also impacts the whole region.”
