Lavrov Meets Xi Jinping; Beijing Emphasizes Strengthening Strategic Partnership with Moscow

According to the English section ⁣of webangah News Agency, citing ⁢Mehr News​ Agency and Al Jazeera, Chinese ​President Xi Jinping,‍ while hosting Russian Foreign Minister Sergei ⁤Lavrov in Beijing, stressed his commitment to enhancing comprehensive ⁢and strategic cooperation with Moscow.

Earlier,during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit,Xi held a meeting with the foreign ministers of member states.

Lavrov, who has been in China since ‌july 13 to attend the SCO foreign ministers’ meeting, discussed ⁣preparations for Russian President Vladimir putin’s upcoming visit to Beijing with Xi Jinping.
