Cargo Ship “Hanzaleh” Arrives in Southern Italy
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, the Hanẓalah ship carrying pro-palestinian activists has arrived at the port of Gallipoli in southern Italy. The vessel aims to reach Gaza, similar to the Madeleine ship, in an attempt to break the blockade on the Strip.
The Hanẓalah, part of the Freedom Fleet, officially began its journey on Sunday. its mission is to remind the world that Palestinians remain remembered and supported.
The ship carries 15 Palestinian solidarity activists who intend to deliver humanitarian aid directly to Gaza’s residents.
Dozens gathered at Hanẓalah’s departure point in italy, chanting “Free Palestine.” Two representatives from a French political party are also expected to join the crew.
This growth comes six weeks after the Madeleine ship set out from Italy toward Gaza but was intercepted by Israeli forces; its passengers were detained following what was described as a seizure.
