Kallas: We Hope Brussels Reaches Agreement Tomorrow on Sanctions Against Russia
Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, spoke on Tuesday without condemning the ongoing crimes of the Zionist regime against the oppressed Palestinian people. She stated that Israel must take concrete steps to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza, as the current conditions cannot continue.
Kallas took a politically evasive stance, asserting that “we will keep political options on the table and are prepared to act if Israel fails to meet its commitments.”
She added that Russia must bear financial responsibility for the consequences of its war in Ukraine. Russia is attempting to force Ukraine’s surrender by inflicting maximum damage. “We hope EU countries will agree tomorrow on a sanctions package against Russia.”
