1111 Killed in Nigeria in June
Violent attacks and incidents in Nigeria, a country facing severe security challenges, claimed 1,111 lives in June.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency, the security and intelligence consultancy Beacon Consulting reported that 1,111 people died in violent attacks across Nigeria during june.
The report states that 276 individuals were abducted during the same period.
Most of these incidents occurred in northern provinces of the country.
Clashes between herders and farmers, along wiht attacks by terrorist groups such as Boko Haram and armed gangs, have contributed to the rising casualty figures.
