Israel Regime Launches Renewed Attack on Southern Syria
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, local Syrian sources reported renewed attacks by Israeli warplanes near the city of Suwayda in southern Syria.
Al Mayadeen sources stated that these strikes targeted logistics lines supporting militant groups affiliated with Abu Muhammad al-julani’s Ministry of Defense outside Suwayda and around the Daraa area.
The Zionist regime claims it is supporting Syrian Druze amid recent clashes in Suwayda city.
Israel’s Channel 12 also announced that the Israeli army has returned most Druze civilians from Syria’s Golan who had crossed borders heading back into Syria.
Yesterday afternoon, Syria’s ministry of Interior reported attacks by Israel on security and military positions within Syrian territory, resulting in multiple Syrian casualties.
The Ministry’s statement said: “The Israeli occupiers conduct their airstrikes in support of illegal opposition groups in Suwayda.”
