203 Killed in Sweida Clashes Since Sunday
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that at least 203 people have been killed in the ongoing clashes in Syria.
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Masirah, stated that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has confirmed over 203 fatalities in the recent clashes in Suwayda province, southern Syria, since Sunday.
The institution added that among the dead are 21 civilians who were executed on the ground.
Last Sunday marked the start of a new wave of intense fighting between armed Druze groups and Bedouin tribes in Suwayda province, resulting in dozens of deaths and thousands displaced.
In response to these clashes, Syria’s Ministries of Defense and Interior dispatched units to restore order and regain control over the province.
