Drone Attacks Target Oil Fields in Iraqi Kurdistan
The Kurdistan Region of Iraq reports three drone attacks on Zakho oil fields.
The Counter-Terrorism Service of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq has confirmed that three drone strikes targeted the Zakho oil fields in Duhok province, according to webangah News Agency,citing Al Jazeera.
There were no human casualties reported from these attacks.
Yesterday,an explosion at the Sarsenk oil field,also in Duhok province within the Kurdistan Region,shook the area.
Oil extraction operations at Sarsenk have been halted due to this explosion. Engineers stated that it ignited a fire in the vicinity.
