Tel Aviv Threatens the “Julani” Regime
According to webangah News Agency citing al Jazeera, Israel’s Channel 12 reported statements from Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz saying the Israeli military will continue its attacks on Syrian forces.
Katz added that the Syrian regime must leave the Druze population in suwayda province alone and withdraw its troops from the area.
“We will maintain a policy of a weapons-free zone in Syria. Our strikes against Syrian forces will persist until they pull back from suwayda,” he said.
The Defense Minister warned that if Jabhat al-nusra leader Jolani does not heed this message, Tel Aviv will escalate its attacks.
Yesterday, Katz also stated that Israel would not allow harm to come to Syria’s Druze community and issued a stern warning directed at Jolani. These remarks followed recent Israeli airstrikes near Suwayda city, where intense clashes erupted between Druze groups and militants affiliated with Jolani’s terrorist association.
This stance appears aimed at justifying Israel’s ongoing aggressive operations against Syria through these declarations.
