Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen quoted Israeli media reporting that an Israeli soldier was killed and three others seriously injured-one critically-after a tank struck a roadside bomb east of Gaza.
Following this resistance operation, Israeli military helicopters landed in Gaza to evacuate the wounded.
Some Israeli outlets also reported another security incident against soldiers in northern Gaza, involving an anti-tank missile hitting an Israeli tank.
This came as Israeli warplanes heavily bombed Beit Hanoun city in northern Gaza.
