Jerbou Condemns Israeli Attacks on Syria
One of Syria’s Druze leaders described the Israeli regime’s attacks on Syria as surprising and condemned them.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Youssef Jarbou, the sheikh Aql of the Muslim Monotheist Druze community, told Al jazeera: “Today, we were surprised by Israel’s timid and unexpected operation in Damascus.”
He added, “We condemn Israel’s attacks on Syria. We have not sought assistance from anyone-not from Israel nor from others.”
Jarbou also emphasized his opposition to internationalizing the al-Suwayda issue and opposing such moves regarding the Druze.
It is worth noting that the Israeli regime carried out attacks against Syria in recent hours.
