Reports have emerged of an explosion heard in Erbil within the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent reported hearing an explosion in Erbil province in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, while stating that the cause remains unkown.
The Al Arabiya television correspondent also confirmed hearing an explosion in Erbil city.
No further details have been released at this time.
