Hamas Responds to Israeli Attack on Church in Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and the Palestine Data Center,Hamas issued a statement in response to this criminal assault. The statement emphasized that targeting the Latin Monastery Church in Gaza City by the Israeli occupation army this morning, which resulted in injuries to the church’s priest and several displaced refugees seeking shelter there, constitutes yet another atrocity committed by this regime against places of worship and innocent refugees. This crime forms part of a full-scale genocidal war waged against the Palestinian people in all its dimensions.
Hamas added that the ongoing brutal massacres carried out by this regime-including policies designed to starve Gaza’s population and systematically slaughter innocent civilians across the region-combined with purposeful attacks on mosques, churches, hospitals, bakeries, water wells, and other civilian infrastructures, are clear war crimes. These acts demand a decisive response from both the international community and the United Nations. Such unprecedented crimes must be met with immediate action to halt these savage assaults and hold leaders of the occupation regime accountable for crimes against humanity.
