Israeli Regime Violates Agreement Again with Airstrike on Syria’s As-Suwayda
The Israeli regime violated the ceasefire by launching air and drone attacks around the city of Al-Suwayda, coinciding with a UN Security Council meeting on its aggression in Syria.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen, Syria’s official news agency (SANA) reported that Israeli forces carried out an airstrike near the southern city of Al-Suwayda during a Security Council session addressing developments in Syria.
Syria-based sources also confirmed that Israeli drones targeted areas around the village of Wolga on the outskirts of Al-Suwayda.
Thes sources further reported intense clashes between tribal military groups and Druze communities in villages and towns located to the west of Al-Suwayda.
The Israeli military, however, has denied reports of any airstrikes near Al-suwayda.
