11 Arab and Islamic Countries Condemn Zionist Regime’s Aggression Against Syria
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Al Arabi, eleven Arab and Islamic states released a joint statement on Thursday welcoming the agreement to end the crisis in As-Suwayda province in southern Syria. They reiterated their opposition to any foreign interference in Syrian affairs.
The foreign ministers of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Turkey, saudi Arabia, Qatar, iraq, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Egypt stressed the importance of implementing this agreement in a way that guarantees Syria’s unity and territorial integrity. They emphasized halting bloodshed, protecting civilians, and ensuring government sovereignty and rule of law.
According to Saudi Arabia’s official news agency (SPA), these foreign ministers held intensive talks over two days to review developments in Syria as part of their support for Syrian government efforts to rebuild the country while ensuring its security and stability.
