Gaza Ministry of Health: 650,000 Children on the Brink of Death

The‌ Ministry ⁣of Health‌ in Gaza announced that ⁤amid the ongoing Israeli⁢ policy of starving the people of Gaza,⁣ over 650,000 children are on the brink of death.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen ‌via⁤ Mehr News ​agency,‌ Gaza’s Ministry of Health ​issued a statement reporting that the Israeli regime’s attacks on humanitarian aid convoys and ⁢its starvation policy have driven an unprecedented number of people across ‌all age⁢ groups to⁣ hospitals and emergency⁣ rooms.

The ⁣statement added‌ that these individuals arrive ⁣at hospitals ​tired and ⁣severely weak. Hundreds in Gaza‌ have become emaciated and stand at⁢ immediate risk of ‌death as their bodies cannot withstand such severe malnutrition.

So ‍far, 69 children have died from⁤ malnutrition,‌ while total⁣ fatalities caused by food‍ and medicine shortages in ⁤Gaza exceed ​620.

The media⁣ office of ⁢the Gaza government stressed ⁢that Israeli occupiers continue their full ⁣siege and genocide against its population with no serious intervention to stop this escalating humanitarian‍ catastrophe.

This ⁢office also released⁤ additional⁤ statistics on Israeli crimes in Gaza, highlighting ​that after 139 days since all crossings were fully ​sealed off, Israelis have blocked over ⁣76,000 trucks carrying humanitarian aid⁣ and fuel from entering Gaza.

According to the report,more than 650,000 children remain at immediate​ risk due to severe hunger and malnutrition.

Al Mayadeen further notes ⁤that ​over⁤ 877 people have been killed inside⁤ American-Israeli relief centers-described as deadly ambushes-with more than 5,666‌ wounded and 42 missing.

The ⁣Israeli occupiers have targeted 57 humanitarian aid distribution ⁣centers and attacked aid convoys over 121 times so far.

Simultaneously occurring, approximately 12,500 cancer⁣ patients⁤ in Gaza ‌face ‍imminent death without⁤ access to medicine or food. ​Over 60,000 pregnant women are also at⁢ grave risk due to shortages‍ in⁤ nutrition and also ‌medical supplies and hygiene equipment.
