Joulani Forces Block Routes Leading to Suwayda Province
Syria’s media reported that forces linked to the terrorist Julani regime have sealed off all roads leading to As-Suwayda Governorate in southern Syria, according to Russia Today via Mehr News Agency and webangah news Agency.
The report stated that movement of individuals and military convoys toward As-Suwayda is now prohibited.
The Syrian newspaper Al-watan added that julani-affiliated forces have blocked key dialog routes between Damascus and daraa as well as Damascus and As-Suwayda.
Earlier, the governor of Daraa told Al Jazeera that a significant wave of Syrian refugees fleeing the recent days’ clashes in As-Suwayda are moving toward Daraa.
He said authorities are working with relevant organizations to address the humanitarian needs of these displaced people.
It is indeed critically important to note that internal clashes in As-Suwayda between Druze communities and local tribes-complex by interventions from elements tied to the terrorist Julani regime-have so far resulted in over 1,800 casualties including dead and wounded.
