Heavy Fighting in As-Suwayda Leaves Nearly 1,000 Dead
Local sources report intense clashes between Sunni tribes and Druze fighters in As-Suwayda.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Al-Bawaba, severe fighting has resumed at the entrance of As-Suwayda city in southern syria.
Sources stated that heavy battles continue between sunni tribes and Druze fighters, despite US announcements about a ceasefire agreement between Tel Aviv and Damascus.
meanwhile,local Syrian sources confirmed that the terms of the ceasefire in As-suwayda have yet to be implemented.
The sources added that armed tribal militants, supporting Jolani’s forces, are still arriving in As-Suwayda province.
