Details Announced for Three-Phase Ceasefire in Syria
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, Hamza al-Mustafa, the Information Minister of the Jolani regime, stated that the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Suwayda involves deploying security forces in the western and northern outskirts of the province.
He added that during the second phase, humanitarian corridors between Daraa and Suwayda will be established to allow civilians to leave. The third phase will gradually see governmental institutions reactivated and security forces fully deployed across Suwayda province.
A informed source at Syria’s Ministry of Interior confirmed that Jolani forces will be stationed along main routes. The Hayya Basri al-Sham and Basr al-Harir crossings will be opened for civilian evacuation.
Prisoner exchanges are planned following triumphant implementation of ceasefire terms.
