Vatican Expresses Doubt Over Claims by Zionist Regime
The Vatican stated that the Israeli side must provide a more precise explanation concerning the attack on a church in Gaza City, which resulted in three deaths and nine injuries, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an.
Cardinal Pietro Parolin saeid the Vatican cannot accept that this incident was simply a military mistake. He added that Israel’s responses have been insufficient and failed to dispel doubts.
Following the attack, Israeli Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed regret in a phone call with the Pope.
The Israeli regime claims that striking the church was an error. Meanwhile, over nearly two years, many mosques and religious sites in Gaza have been targeted by Israeli fighter jets without notable international reactions.
