Liberman: Netanyahu’s Rafah Plan Is Nothing but an Illusion
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Avigdor Lieberman, former defense minister of Israel, emphasized that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu seeks to prolong the war untill the elections in the occupied territories.
He added that delusional schemes in Gaza, such as establishing a “humanitarian city” in Rafah, contradict the objectives of the war.
It is noteworthy that Israel uses deceptive populist terms like “humanitarian city” to imprison hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians in Rafah while forcibly expelling them from Gaza.
Lieberman previously stated that Netanyahu’s cabinet has failed on all fronts.
He further asserted that Netanyahu’s government cannot guarantee Israel’s security and must be dismissed.
